A little off topic, but I'm watching the Yankee - Angels game and did the Angels pitcher really just overthrow an easy out to first base??

I wish I had hair like Spee. Check him out in this picture! These two cowboys were generous in donating their busy time by letting me snap a few photos of them. I didn't even have to pay them! I've been able to take a couple of my cousins family pictures these last couple of weekends. It's been a lot of fun doing that. I have now decided that Autumn is the prettiest time to take pictures because the leaves with all differing colors rock. If you want to take a fun family photo, just wander outside by some leaves and snap away!

This is the corner of 7th E and 5th S. For those that aren't around here, multiply those numbers by 100 to get the actual street names! Salt Lake City and be pretty confusing like that. The sun was about to sneak below the tree line. Setting on us, but rising on someone else in a land far far away. The sun never sleeps, takes breaks, or gets tired. It's constant, true, and faithful. It is amazing that a body over 93 million miles away can provide the energy to sustain life on a planet like ours. I mean think about that! There are no extension cords running from the sun to our planet. Energy in the form of light waves/particles (if photons can be described as such--it's been a while since physics) travel all that distance and powers photosynthesis in plants. I know that all of you look your basic biology course in college or high school, but just looking at this picture and see the light flares made me think about all that. If everything is a type and shadow of Christ, how much more important do these thinking make the light and life of the world? Because on a scientific stand point: no light, no life. On a spiritual standpoint too: no light, no life. Interesting.

These guys are funny guys. Kim and Obed's kids are a hoot to play with. I took this picture quickly before I took Joseph down to watch Finn's soccer game with me. It was a cold day for soccer. The funny thing was that it really wasn't that cold, but because it was windy and I'm used to summer temperatures, it made the watching pretty chilly. The game went well, Finn's team lost. I don't know what the score was, I think a lot to nothing. There were two kids on the opposing kindergarten team that figured out the game of soccer and were there to show it. They scored at least a dozen points between them. Unfortunately, there wasn't any players on Finn's team that had the game figured out and consequently became content on kicking the ball off after the other team kept scoring. Hey, at least the kids were having fun, right?

I don't know what it is, but I go on these blogging spurts. I'll blog a little bit and then leave it for the birds for a week or two. I guess thats better than some of my family (wait... ALL of my family) who never blog! Lets see, if you look over to your right, you can see the blogs that have been updated recently. The most recent sibling that has blogged was Emily five weeks ago! Now, I don't want to be a hypocrite because I've had my off spells, but come on-- five weeks!? Thats actually pretty good compared to Kristy and Mom that haven't blogged since spring! Kim and Kate haven't updated us since early June. Ambers biannual update occurred over the summer so we're good until December. I guess it's always fun to read other's but really don't like doing it ourselves. Personally, I really don't know what to write about sometimes and consequently you get a picture with some text that is totally unrelated to the picture (much like today)!
About the picture: This is actually one of my favorites from the Texas set that we took. Erin is such a cute little poser and was a willing subject. The reason I haven't put it on yet because I was going to see if Kate puts it on her blog from the pictures I gave her from the summer. Well, we all know from my previous ranting that I don't have to worry about that because of her blogupdatophobia--which seems to be infectious.
