Est. 1847

This is a picture of the Salt Lake City library.  Its award winning architecture and design is quite the sight to see.  A friend and I went downtown today to take some pictures around Temple Square and the library.  It was pretty chilly, but pretty enjoyable at the same time.  It's nice to have a day off every once in a while to actually walk the streets that we drive by every day.

I've been looking at this picture for the past couple of minutes and really enjoy how it turned out.  You might beg to differ, I understand that.  For some reason I enjoy pictures of lampposts, fire hydrants, and other odd-and-end things around the city--like this clock for example.

This yellow flower should get us ready for Spring, right?  Don't get too excited though, because we still have a couple months more of cold, wet weather.  Unless you're lucky enough to live down in Vegas, Texas, or some other warm state, which then you're thinking: it's already feeling like Spring.  We're all happy for you, don't rub it in.
