Silhouette

This is a beautiful picture of a sunset at Delicate Arch.  It would have been better if it was a silhouette of the actual arch, but the sun sets in the west and I can't do much about that.  It was a beautiful night.  Speaking of pictures, check out these milestone pictures of space photography.   No pun intended, but they are out of this world.  The amount of human progress and ingenuity to get to the point of capturing these photographs is truly amazing.  I know that waxing astronomical isn't the most popular thing to do on this blog, but I'm seriously worried about you all's eyesight if you don't think that the picture in this post is absolutely amazing.  Sorry to link to it again, I know that you can just scroll down two posts.  I love it, though.

A Girl With Her Grandma

This is my mom and one of her granddaughters.  I think it is a touching picture.  Really, I asked Erin to smile; but you know her, she didn't.

Three of Saturn's Moons

Obviously this isn't my picture, but it's one I came across looking at the Cassini Mission images.  It shows the enormity of Saturn.  In this picture, the craft is about twice the distance from Saturn than our moon is from earth.  The two moons you can see are smaller moons of Saturn, but I love how they just float there by their huge planet.   You can check out more pictures here.  You can see a third moon of Saturn on the far left side of the picture just above the ring.  It's so small that it's just a pixel.  It's humbling to look at pictures like this.  I love it.

Beach Family

This is my sister's beautiful family at the beach.  I've never done beach pictures and our first attempt ended with everyone squinting because the sun was too bright.  The sky was overcast and the wind was blowing, but over all I think the pictures turned out well.  It's easy when you have good looking subjects.

Leading

This is a cute picture of Erin leading Lincoln down the beach.  I thought it was cute.  Erin is so independent/stubborn that it makes me laugh.  There is nothing that she can't do.
